How do I make the charging screen start when I plug in?

iOS does not let apps open themselves on plug-in, so use a Shortcuts automation: open Shortcuts › Automation › New Automation › Charger › Is Connected › Run Immediately, then add the action "Show Charging Screen" from Plugpop. The in-app guide (Settings › Set up auto-play) shows the same steps.

How do I close the charging screen?

Double-tap anywhere. You can also let it close by itself when you unplug, or set a close-after timer in Settings.

Why does the Live Activity stop updating?

The battery level on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island is updated while the charging screen is open. It ends when the charging screen closes.

Does Plugpop cost anything?

No. Every screen, theme and feature is free. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.
